Every year is bringing us some fabulous reads. That’s exciting if you’re an avid reader like I am. Several of these made my wish list for this year. I hope there’re some books listed here that can make yours as well.
This book is one that’s been highly anticipated. Written by the very famous and respected Harper Lee, the same author of “To Kill a Mockingbird,” which is such a valued classic. Written in the mid-‘50s, “Go Set a Watchman” has many of the same characters that appear in “To Kill a Mockingbird,” but it’s set 20 years forward in the future. This book is currently holding the number one spot as a bestseller on Amazon. It’s sure to become a beloved literary work just as “To Kill a Mockingbird” did.
The best word I can think of for this book is intriguing. It’s the second book by author Megan Mayhew Bergman and contains true stories of women you’ve probably never heard of. Each tale is fascinating and sure to keep you interested. It’s a light read that many will enjoy. You’ll love Berman’s style of writing, which is a mixture of compassion and entertainment.
This one made my wishlist. As a long time Nicholas Sparks fan, I’m excited to get my hands on his latest novel! It isn't released until October so fans still have a bit of a wait. It’s the story of Colin and Maria, whose newly found love is threatened by ghosts of Maria’s past. It looks to be a story to both delight your heart and keep you on the edge as you root for the characters.
This much anticipated sequel to “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” is finally here. Main character Lara Jean finds herself falling for Peter, although she had no intention of doing so. When a guy from her past comes back into her life she must figure out who her heart truly wants. You’ll remember first love as you go through Lara Jean’s story with her. “P.S. I Still Love You” has 4.6-star reviews on Amazon.

For fans, this is a must for their collection. The work of E.L. James has always been controversial, but it can’t be denied that it’s sizzling hot. Not surprisingly, her latest work is claiming a spot on the bestseller list.
I have to have this book! The description makes me want to find a comfy corner to hole up in until I can read every single page. It’s set in breathtakingly beautiful France at the beginning of WWII, which is an era I can never resist reading about. It’s a story of two sisters and their individual journeys of love and finding their own path in meeting the challenges of this dramatic time.
If you haven’t heard of this book then you’re living in a cave! This thriller came out in early 2015 and became an instant bestseller. It’s the story of Rachel, who takes the same commuter train daily. She’s observed the life outside her window faithfully and then one day she sees something very troubling. As she comes forward to the police she finds her life drawn into a web she may not get out of.
