6. Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do You See?

A book for toddlers by Bill Martin Jr. and Eric Carle that teaches colors and meanings, this book is a smooth read that I started reading to my twins when they were only one month old. Their eyes grow so big when they saw the colored animals. I am thinking of making huge, stick puppets soon so their eyes will grow bigger in wonder

P.D. Eastman wrote a story of discovery with a baby bird as the main character. Mother Bird left the nest to look for food and the egg hatches. Baby Bird walks around and approaches all sorts of animals and asks them the question: "Are you my mother?" It's an exciting book for toddlers as Baby Bird takes on a journey to find Mommy.
