Sarah Sundin is an American author of Christian fiction, best known for her World War II-era historical romance series. She has written more than twenty novels, including the popular Wings of the Nightingale trilogy, the Wings of Glory series, and the Waves of Freedom series.
Sarah grew up in California and has a degree in pharmacy from the University of California, San Francisco. She began writing fiction in 2004, and her first book, A Distant Melody, was published in 2008. Since then she has become a popular author in the Christian fiction genre, with her books appearing on the CBA and ECPA bestseller lists.

Tamera Alexander's novels are truly a balm for the soul, with characters that resonate deeply and linger in your thoughts long after the last page is turned. The way she weaves faith into her storytelling is both natural and stirring, organically integrating it without ever feeling preachy. Her historical romance novels, in particular, bring the past to life with a vividness that is both educational and utterly captivating. For fans of historical accuracy blended with heartfelt romance, Alexander's works are a must-read! While her later novels are still enjoyable, they don't quite capture the magic of her earlier series.
This is another author that I only discovered recently. Her stories are very good and keep you curious as to what is going to happen next. Like Mary Connealy, her books are usually set in a western setting in the late 1800s. There is also a little comedy but enough touching moments to satisfy romantic hearts. I love her series, *“Texas Boardinghouse Brides.”* **Her characters are relatable and her storytelling is captivating.** She has a knack for blending historical accuracy with engaging plots, ensuring that readers are both entertained and informed.
Now it’s your turn. I am always on the lookout for a new favorite Christian fiction author. Who are your favorites?
