The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin

The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin Although this is not a career book per se, it's still one every young woman should read when first entering the career world. Rubin has a loving husband, two great kids and a writing career in New York City. One day she realizes that although she is not unhappy, she could be happier. Thus she dedicated one year of her life to a "Happiness Project" to make her feel better and happier. This is great for young women to read because entering the work force and leaving behind college can cause you to feel stressed and unhappy at times from being so busy!

I don't believe in self-help books but I wouldn't call these self-help books as much as I'd call them career building books. When it comes to being a young woman entering the work force, it can feel overwhelming and make you think you're unprepared. Getting some advice or guidance is great in bettering yourself and your career path! Have you read any books that have helped you better yourself for your career?
